How this rebuild works
This version separates the application from the training data. Connect it to the shared data service in Data / Admin, and a correction can reach every device without a new ZIP.
Until it is connected, it remains fully usable in this browser. You can import GeoJSON or JSON, edit corrections, and export a backup.
The county GIS is used as a source, but the trainer should be checked against your agency's official/FTO information before relying on it operationally.
Quiz modes
Start with Map Study to inspect what is loaded before quizzing.
Street Quiz
Map Study
Only loaded training data is highlighted. The base map is for geographic reference.
Training Data
Import GeoJSON with LineString/MultiLineString street features, or JSON with streets and intersections arrays. Connected administrators automatically sync changes to the shared data service.
GIS Source
Marathon County publishes current Street Centerlines and other GIS datasets. The county's GIS catalog lists Street Centerlines (2025), and its public map services expose transportation Road Names and Road Centerlines.
This rebuild does not silently assume that a county GIS feature endpoint means the physical street ends there. Network construction and your corrections are separate.
Shared Online Data
Connect a Supabase project to share street data and correction notes between devices. Progress stays private to this browser for now.
Intersection Corrections / Notes
Use this area to record places where the GIS representation needs a training correction. These notes are local to this browser until exported.
